Formation Lap（“本应用”）是一款面向 F1 及青少年方程式赛事爱好者的 iOS 应用。我们的原则很简单：不需要账号，不收集你的个人信息，不做广告与行为追踪。

1. 我们不收集什么

  • 不要求注册或登录，不收集姓名、邮箱、手机号、精确位置、通讯录、照片等。
  • 不集成第三方统计、广告或崩溃分析 SDK，不使用广告标识符（IDFA），不跨应用或跨网站追踪你。
  • 我们（开发者）不运营收集用户数据的服务器。

2. 保存在你设备上的内容

以下内容仅保存在你的设备本地（含与本应用小组件共享的 App Group 容器），不会上传给我们：

  • 你的偏好：关注的车手、防剧透设置与已解锁标记、提醒提前量、时区显示偏好、转播延迟设置；
  • 已拉取赛事数据的本地缓存（赛历、积分榜、赛果等），用于加快打开速度；
  • 小组件与实时活动所需的赛事快照。

卸载本应用即可删除这些数据。

3. 本地通知

当你选择“赛程提醒”时，本应用会请求通知权限，并在你的设备上安排本地通知。通知内容遵循零剧透原则，不含赛果。你可随时在 iOS“设置 → 通知”中关闭。

4. 网络请求与第三方数据服务

为显示赛历、成绩、积分榜、新闻、天气与高光视频，本应用的设备会直接向独立的第三方数据服务发起 HTTPS 请求。请求不包含你的账号信息（本应用没有账号），但这些服务会像任何网站一样看到你的 IP 地址与基本请求信息（如设备语言、User-Agent），并按其各自的政策处理。主要服务类别包括：

  • 赛事数据 API（赛历、成绩、积分榜、实时计时）：Jolpica-F1、OpenF1、RacingHub、Gridvex、ESPN、Formula 1 Dashboard、f1academy.com 等；
  • 天气预报：Open-Meteo（仅按赛道坐标查询，不使用你的位置）；
  • 资料与新闻：Wikipedia，及若干赛事媒体 RSS 源（如 The Race、Planet F1、Motorsport.com、GPFans、Crash.net）；
  • 视频高光：YouTube Data API（仅在配置后获取官方频道视频元数据，播放通过跳转 YouTube）。

本应用不会把你的身份信息发送给这些服务。点击新闻或视频后打开的外部网站/YouTube 受其自身隐私政策约束。

5. 儿童隐私

本应用不针对 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。

6. 数据安全

所有网络请求使用 HTTPS。本应用不存储也不索要 F1 TV 或其他第三方服务的账号、密码或凭证。

7. 你的权利

由于我们不收集你的个人数据，没有可供导出或删除的服务器端档案。你可通过删除本应用清除设备本地数据。如有任何隐私疑问，请联系 jzhone@gmail.com。

8. 政策变更

如数据处理方式发生变化，我们会更新本页并修订“更新日期”。重大变更会在应用内提示。

Privacy Policy

Formation Lap (the “App”) is an iOS app for fans of Formula 1 and the junior single-seater series. Our approach is simple: no account, no personal data collection, no ads and no behavioural tracking.

1. What we do not collect

  • No sign-up or login; we do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts or photos.
  • No third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs; no advertising identifier (IDFA); no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
  • We (the developer) do not operate servers that collect user data.

2. What is stored on your device

The following stays on your device only (including the App Group container shared with the App's widgets) and is never uploaded to us:

  • Your preferences: followed drivers, spoiler settings and unlock marks, reminder lead time, time-zone display and broadcast-delay settings;
  • A local cache of fetched race data (calendar, standings, results) for faster launch;
  • Race snapshots needed by widgets and Live Activities.

Deleting the App removes this data.

3. Local notifications

If you enable session reminders, the App asks for notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device. Notification text follows a zero-spoiler rule and never contains results. You can turn them off anytime in iOS Settings → Notifications.

4. Network requests and third-party data services

To show the calendar, results, standings, news, weather and highlights, your device makes HTTPS requests directly to independent third-party data services. These requests carry no account information (the App has no accounts), but like any website those services can see your IP address and basic request metadata (such as language and User-Agent) and handle it under their own policies. Main categories:

  • Race-data APIs (calendar, results, standings, live timing): Jolpica-F1, OpenF1, RacingHub, Gridvex, ESPN, Formula 1 Dashboard, f1academy.com, and similar;
  • Weather forecasts: Open-Meteo (queried by circuit coordinates, not your location);
  • Reference and news: Wikipedia and a few motorsport media RSS feeds (e.g. The Race, Planet F1, Motorsport.com, GPFans, Crash.net);
  • Video highlights: YouTube Data API (video metadata for official channels, when configured; playback opens YouTube).

The App does not send identifying information to these services. External sites and YouTube that open after you tap a link are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

6. Security

All network requests use HTTPS. The App never asks for or stores your F1 TV or other third-party account credentials.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect your personal data, there is no server-side profile to export or delete. You can remove all local data by deleting the App. For privacy questions, contact jzhone@gmail.com.

8. Changes

If our data practices change we will update this page and its date, and notify you in the App for material changes.
